Health insurance
Massage covered by health insurance in Bern
I am recognised by EMR and ASCA. If you book at the health insurance price, you receive a receipt for your supplementary insurance, and many insurers cover part of the cost. My studio is in the heart of Bern's old town.

You submit the receipt to your supplementary insurance.
Recognition
EMR, ASCA and my ZSR number

EMR (the Swiss register for complementary medicine) and ASCA (the Swiss Foundation for Complementary Medicine) recognise therapists in complementary medicine. Many supplementary insurers only contribute to treatments by recognised therapists. My ZSR number W038464 is on every receipt.

Questions about health insurance

Is your question not answered here? Call me: 079 697 89 98
Does health insurance cover a massage?
Basic insurance does not cover my massages. However, many supplementary insurers contribute to the cost if the therapist is recognised by EMR or ASCA. How much depends on your insurer and your policy.
Which supplementary insurance pays for a massage?
That depends on your policy. You can see the insurers that recognise my massages in the list above. It is best to ask your insurer before your appointment how much it will cover.
What is the difference between the wellness price and the health insurance price?
The wellness price is the lower one and cannot be claimed through health insurance. The health insurance price is higher and includes the receipt for your supplementary insurance, which often covers part of the cost.
What do EMR and ASCA mean?
EMR is the Swiss register for complementary medicine, and ASCA is the Swiss Foundation for Complementary Medicine. Both recognise therapists, and many supplementary insurers go by their recognition. I am recognised by both.
My insurer does not recognise the massages. What now?
Then I will gladly massage you at the lower wellness price. The booking shows you this as soon as you choose your insurer.
Do I also get the receipt if I pay online?
Yes. You receive the receipt for your health insurance by email after the massage, whether you pay online or at the studio.
