Terms and conditions

Scope

These general terms and conditions apply to all massages with me, Giratchapat Häring, INS SPA Thaimassage, Spitalgasse 26 and 34, 3011 Bern, in the studio and at your home, as well as to vouchers. By booking, accepting my offer or buying a voucher, you accept these terms.

Booking

You can book your appointment online on this website or by phone on 079 697 89 98. Your booking is binding as soon as you have received the confirmation by e-mail.

Please be at the studio 5 minutes before your appointment begins. If you arrive late, your massage is shortened accordingly.

Cancelling and rescheduling

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your appointment, simply via the link in your confirmation e-mail. After that, cancelling or rescheduling is only possible by phone. If you paid online, you can still cancel via the link.

If you cancel later or do not come to your appointment, I charge half the price. If you were going to pay on site, you receive an invoice for it.

If one person cancels a massage for two, the appointment applies only to the other person, at the price for one person.

Prices and payment

The prices in Swiss francs (CHF) at the time of your booking apply.

At the studio, you pay after the massage in cash or with TWINT. You can also pay online in advance via the payment service Stripe, by card, TWINT, or Klarna. If you pay online, your appointment is only booked once the payment has been successful.

Refunds for online payments

If you paid online and cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment, you automatically receive the full amount back to the same means of payment. If I cancel an appointment, you always receive the full amount back.

If you cancel later, you automatically receive half of the amount back, as I charge half for short-notice cancellations. The website shows you this before you cancel, and you receive it by e-mail afterwards. If you do not come to your appointment, I also refund half of the amount, except for a massage at home.

If you reschedule a paid appointment, the payment stays with the new appointment.

It may take a few days for a refund to appear on your card or in your TWINT app. TWINT refunds are possible up to 180 days after the payment.

Massage at home

On request, I also massage you at your home. After your request, I send you an offer with the price of the massage and the travel fee. The offer is valid until the time stated in it. Your appointment is firmly booked as soon as you accept the offer.

You pay online when you accept the offer, or after the massage in cash or with TWINT.

The same cancellation rules apply as in the studio. If you are not there when I arrive, there is no refund. You can only reschedule a massage at home by phone.

I bring the massage table with me. Please make sure there is enough space at your home.

Vouchers

Vouchers are valid for one year from purchase and for every massage. They cannot be paid out in cash. You may pass a voucher on to someone else. A lost voucher cannot be replaced.

Vouchers bought online are paid via Stripe and sent to you by e-mail. A voucher is redeemed with its code when booking online, or at the studio. If the amount is not enough, you pay the rest at the appointment; whatever is left stays on the voucher. If you cancel an appointment paid by the voucher in time, the amount goes back onto the voucher.

For a massage at home, the voucher only pays for the massage, not for the travel fee.

Health insurance

At the wellness price you pay for the massage yourself and receive no receipt for your health insurer. At the higher health insurance price, which is available for certain massages, you receive a receipt for your supplementary insurance by e-mail after the massage. I take the details for it, such as your AHV number, at your appointment.

I do not guarantee any refund by your insurer. How much it covers depends on your supplementary insurance. Please check with your insurer before your appointment.

Massages at INS SPA are not recognised by CSS, Helsana, Visana, and Sympany. I am happy to massage people insured with them at the wellness price.

You pay me for the massage. You then receive any refund from your insurer, according to its own conditions.

Health

A massage does not replace medical treatment. If you have pain or health problems, please see your doctor.

Please tell me before the massage if you have an illness or an injury or if you are pregnant.

I give pregnancy massages from the 14th week of pregnancy, after consultation with your gynaecologist.

Conduct

I offer only wellness and health massages, no erotic services. In the event of inappropriate behaviour, I end the massage and the full price is due.

Liability

My liability is governed by the statutory provisions. I accept no liability for valuables.

Data protection

How I handle your personal data is explained in my privacy policy on this website.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Bern, unless the law prescribes another place of jurisdiction as mandatory.

Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions still apply.

These terms are available in German, English, French and Italian. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
