Targeted techniques, calm hands and time just for you: that is how you experience classic massage in Bern with me. In my studio in the heart of Bern's Old Town, I loosen tight muscles and release tension, tailored to what your body needs right now. As with traditional Thai massage, you can also book this massage at the health insurance price.

What makes classic massage special

Classic massage comes from the European massage tradition. I work on your muscles with targeted techniques and concentrate on the areas you mention, for example your back, neck, shoulders or legs.

With over 15 years of experience, I work exactly where tension has settled. I adapt the pressure and pace to you, so that the massage feels good.

Who it is for

Classic massage is suitable for anyone with tight muscles or tension, for example from long hours at a screen, from physical work or from sport. And if you are coming for a massage for the first time, it is a good place to start.

If you like stretching and movement, try traditional Thai massage. For firm pressure after sport, there is the Thai Deep Tissue Sport.

Health insurance

Wellness price or health insurance price

There are two prices for classic massage. With the wellness price, you choose the lower price, which cannot be claimed through health insurance. The health insurance price is higher, but you receive a receipt that you can submit to your supplementary insurance. You receive the receipt by email after the massage; I take the details for it at your appointment.

This is possible because I am recognised by EMR and ASCA, with the ZSR number W038464. It is best to check with your supplementary insurer before your appointment how much of the cost they will cover. I am not recognised by CSS, Helsana, Sympany or Visana, so they do not cover the costs. I have put together everything else about health insurance on a separate page.

Also at your home

On request, I can also massage you in your own home in Bern and throughout Switzerland. In your request, give me a preferred date. I will then send you an offer with the travel costs, and once you accept, the appointment is confirmed. You will find the details under massage at home in Bern.

Before the massage, tell me where you feel tension and what you would like.

If the pressure is too firm or too light, a quick word is enough and I will adjust it straight away.

If you are in pain or have an illness or a recent injury, please speak to your doctor first.

Which supplementary insurance pays for classic massage?

As firmly as is comfortable for you. Tell me at the start whether you prefer it gentle or firm, and let me know at any time if you would like me to change anything.
