About this massage

Traditional Thai massage has been passed down in Thailand for generations, in my family too: my grandfather was a masseur, and through him I discovered Thai massage as a child. Today I offer traditional Thai massage in Bern, in my studio in the heart of Bern's Old Town. I take time for you, so that you go home relaxed and full of new energy.

What makes traditional Thai massage special

Traditional Thai massage combines targeted pressure with stretches, and so brings together relaxation and movement.

I adjust the pressure to you and adapt it to your wishes at any time, from gentle to firm. I have over 15 years of experience and am a member of an association for traditional Thai medicine.

Who it is for

Traditional Thai massage is for anyone who sits a lot, feels tension in their back, neck and shoulders or would like to feel more flexible again. It is also a good choice if, after a long week, you simply want to take a deep breath and recharge your batteries.

Health insurance

Wellness price or health insurance price

You can book traditional Thai massage at two prices. The wellness price is the lower one and cannot be claimed through health insurance. The health insurance price is higher, but you receive a receipt for your supplementary insurance.

I am recognised by EMR and ASCA, and my ZSR number is W038464. Many supplementary insurers contribute to the cost. It is best to ask your insurer directly before your appointment how much they will cover. Unfortunately, CSS, Helsana, Sympany and Visana do not recognise massages at INS SPA. If your supplementary insurance is with one of them, I will gladly massage you at the lower wellness price.

How strong is the pressure?

As strong as feels good to you. I adjust the pressure to you and can change it at any time during the massage. A quick word is enough.

Does my health insurance cover the cost?

Many supplementary insurers contribute if you choose the health insurance price, as I am recognised by EMR and ASCA (ZSR W038464). Ask your insurer beforehand how much they will cover. CSS, Helsana, Sympany and Visana do not cover any costs at INS SPA.

Which duration should I choose?

You can choose between 60, 90 and 120 minutes. The more time you have, the more room there is for stretches and for the areas that matter to you. If you are unsure, I am happy to advise you on the phone.

Is Thai massage painful?

No, a Thai massage should not hurt. Pressure and stretches can feel intense, but I go entirely by what suits you. Just tell me if anything feels uncomfortable.
